Changing the PHP version, limits, and modules
Changing your PHP configuration through our web hosting services is easy and can be completed within minutes using PHP Selector in cPanel.
Changing the PHP Version
- Log in to VIPcontrol.
- Click the My Services
- Click on cPanel Hosting
- Click the cPanel button next to your service
- Click on Select PHP Version under Software
- Select the PHP version you want in the drop-down menu next to Current PHP Version
- Click on Set as current
Changing PHP Settings
- Log in to VIPcontrol.
- Click the My Services
- Click on cPanel Hosting
- Click the cPanel button next to your service
- Click on Select PHP Version under Software
- Then click the Options tab
- Adjust any of the settings you like, these are automatically saved instantly
Enabling and Disabling PHP Extensions
- Log in to VIPcontrol.
- Click the My Services
- Click on cPanel Hosting
- Click the cPanel button next to your service
- Click on Select PHP Version under Software
- Under PHP Extensions, you will see a large list of PHP Extensions
- Click the checkbox next to an extension, if you want to enable it.
- All done! These changes are automatically saved
